General Assembly and Presidential Election 2025

On behalf of the Executive Board of CEC I would like to formally invite CEC Full Members to our forthcoming General Assembly, to take place online on 29 October 2025.

During this General Assembly we will be electing a new President of CEC for a two-year term, according to the Constitution and Rules of Procedure governing the CEC, and nominations for this post are now open. The position is open to current members of the CEC Executive Board, and in the event of more than one applicant you will be asked to cast your electronic vote in advance of the GA meeting.
We will also be electing our Regional Representatives to cover all five regions of the Commonwealth (Africa; Asia; Caribbean and Americas; Europe; Pacific). Nominations have been received, and new representatives will be elected during the General Assembly.
New Representatives, taking up their role on 29 October, will be:
Trudy Morgan, Sierra Leone
Incoming President (2025-2027)

Europe Regional Representative
Engr Waseem Nazir, Pakistan
Asia Regional Representative
Pascal Motsoasele, South Africa
